- 1 lb ground turkey
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1 can (28 oz) diced tomatoes, undrained
- 1 can (15 oz) chick-peas (garbanzo beans), rinsed and drained
- 1 can (15 oz) kidney beans, rinsed and drained
- 1 can (15 oz) black beans, rinsed and drained
- 1 can (8 oz) tomato sauce
- 1 can (about 4 oz) chopped mild green chilis
- 1-2 tbsp chili powder
Cook turkey and onion in medium skillet over medium-high heat, stirring to break up meat until turkey is no longer pink. Drain; place turkey mixture into slow cooker.
Add remaining ingredients and mix well. Cover; cook on HIGH 6-8 hours.
Makes 6-8 servings.
