- 1 cup frozen green peas
- 3 cups chopped romaine lettuce
- 3 Tbsp chopped red onions
- 2 Tbsp shredded 2% reduced-fat cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup low-fat buttermilk
- 2 Tbsp light mayonnaise
- 1/2 tsp sugar
- 1/4 tsp apple cider vinegar
- 1/8 tsp salt
Cook peas according to package directions; rinse with cold water to cool. Combine lettuce, peas, red onions, and cheese in a salad bowl. Combine buttermilk, mayonnaise, sugar, vinegar, and salt in a small bowl, whisking until well blended. Drizzle mixture over salad and toss. Makes 2 servings.
