Green Beans with Tomatoes

  • 1/2 lb fresh green beans, trimmed
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, cut in half
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1/4 tsp garlic salt
  • 1/4 tsp dried basil
  • 1 tsp olive oil
Bring 1/2 inch salted water to a boil in large frying pan. Add green beans, cover, and cook 3-5 minutes or until crisp-tender; drain. Cook tomatoes, sugar, garlic salt, and basil in hot oil in a medium skillet 2 minutes; add beans and stir until thoroughly heated. Divide and serve. Makes 2 portions.
