- 1/2 lb ground sirloin
- 1/8 tsp salt; 1/8 tsp pepper
- 1 slice reduced-fat Cheddar cheese, cut into quarters
- 2 small leaves romaine lettuce, torn in half
- 4 wheat slider bins
- 1 plum tomato, cut into 4 slices
- 4 tsp ketchup (if desired)
- 4 tsp yellow mustard (if desired)
- 4 tsp low-fat mayonnaise (if desired)

Preheat grill to medium-high heat. Combine ground beef, salt and pepper; shape into 4 patties. Grill patties, covered with grill lid, 3-4 minutes per side, or to desired degree of doneness. Top each patty with 1 cheese quarter during last minute. Make 4 sliders with remaining ingredients. Makes 2 servings.
