Signs and Symptoms:
- may or may not include loss of consciousness
- amnesia
- confusion
- headache
- balance problems or dizziness
- double or fuzzy vision
- sensitivity to light or noise
- nausea
- feeling sluggish, foggy, or groggy
- feeling unusually irritable
- concentration or memory problems
- slowed reaction time
If you suspect you have a concussion:
- DO treat is seriously
- DO NOT try to hide it or "tough it out"
- DO get checked out by a physician or other healthcare provider
- DO follow proper recovery and return to activity steps
