Spicy Pulled Pork

  • 2 onions, peeled and quartered
  • 1 whole pork butt
  • salt and pepper
  • 11 oz. can chipotle peppers in adobo sauce
  • 24 oz. Dr. Pepper
  • 4 packed Tbsp brown sugar
Preheat oven to 300. Place onion quarters in bottom of large pot. Sprinkle pork with salt and pepper, then place on top of onions. Pour chipotle peppers over the top, and then top with Dr. Pepper. Add the brown sugar and stir the liquid.

Cover the pot and cook for at least 6 hours, flipping about every hour. 

Makes 18 servings. Can serve plain, or on bun with BBQ sauce and cheese!
