- 1 tub mozzarella balls
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 lb hot Italian sausage
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp pepper
- 1 cup bread crumbs
- 1/4 cup shredded parmesan cheese
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup whole milk
- 1/2 cup parsley
- 1 jar marinara
In a large bowl, mix all ingredients except the mozzarella and marinara. Make balls out of beef mixture. Insert a mozzarella ball into each meat ball. In a slow cooker, coat the bottom with marinara sauce. As you make layers of stuffed meatballs, keep adding marinara to slow cooker as it fills. Cook on high 2 hours. Makes 4-5 servings.
