- 2 Tbsp light mayo
- 2 Tbsp light sour cream
- 1 tsp chopped chipotle peppers in adobo sauce (from can)
- 1 small clove garlic, minced
- 1/2 lb lean ground turkey
- 1/8 tsp salt; 1/8 tsp pepper
- 2 whole wheat hamburger buns
- 1/4 red bell pepper (or any color of choice), thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup fresh spinach
Preheat grill or grill pan to medium-high heat. Whisk together mayo, sour cream, chipotle peppers, and garlic in small bowl. Shape turkey burgers into 2 patties; sprinkle both sides with salt and pepper. Grill patties, covered with grill lid 4-5 minutes per side. Grill buns, cut side down, for 1 minute. Spread mayo mixture evenly over bottoms of buns; top with patties, bell pepper and spinach. Makes 2 servings.
